Kick-off — the argument

David (Arsenal) and Lawrence (Man Utd) disagree about Patrice Evra. Neither concedes. Nobody can rule on it. Every football chat we'd ever been in had the same problem: everyone talks a big game, nobody has to prove it.

The game takes shape

200 hand-written questions across Players, Clubs, International and Random. A 30-second sand timer, because pressure is where big talk goes to die. Yellow and red cards, because someone always needs booking. Tested on our mates until games ended friendships (temporarily).

We didn't want to launch with a warehouse of anonymous boxes. Every first-edition box is numbered by hand before it ships. When they're gone, the run's done — the reprint won't say first edition.
